Comté Cheese is one of the great French cheeses, coming from the Jura region. Pliny the Elder already spoke of this wonder of mountain villages. It is made with raw cow's milk from the Montbéliarde and Simmental Française breeds, and is characterized by its intense and concentrated flavor. It has a high content of phosphorus, calcium, minerals and proteins.
