Santo Merlot 2014

Under the banner of "Heredad de Urueña", the Rodríguez León family has developed a comprehensive project for the restoration and recovery of a Castilian farmhouse, with origins at the end of the 17th century: with its farmhouse, stables, dovecote, winery and semi-detached winery. -buried, with a brick vault and stone pillars, it was the central part of an extensive vineyard on the slopes of the historic town of Urueña. This property occupied part of the place called "Pago de las Viñas", registered in the Cadastre of the Marqués de la Ensenada.

tasting note

Deep purplish red colour. It is intense on the nose, with pleasant aromas of ripe black fruits, jam, liquorice and mineral notes. Good volume on the palate, meaty, fresh and balanced. With well melted sweet and toasted tannins. It has a pleasant step and a long memory.
