Antinori Tignanello

Tignanello, produced since 1971 only in the best vintages, is a wine that has profoundly marked the history of Italian oenology. In addition to being the first barrel-aged Sangiovese, he was also the first to modernize his blend with non-traditional varieties.

Tasting note:

Tignanello comes in a very bright ruby ​​red colour. On the nose, the complexity of its first approach impresses, with a prominent presence of red and black berries and sweet spices. Other more masculine notes follow, leather and pipe tobacco, on a balsamic background that gives depth to the whole. On the palate it is enveloping, clean and fluid, with a smoothness and freshness in perfect balance. A wine that turns the strength of the Sangiovese into absolute refinement. A pleasure from the first to the last sip.
