Cepa 21 wine is the standard of Bodegas Cepa 21. Created in 2007 with the aim of producing wines based on tradition, the native variety and the terroir of the Ribera del Duero, but in line with new wine trends. The wine, a varietal Tinto Fino, comes from vineyards in which the northern exposure, the climate and the soil come together to produce an excellent quality wine.
Made from grapes from the winery's highest plots, and in an ideal enclave where exposure, climate and soil come together to obtain magnificent grape quality. Its fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to later complete its malolactic fermentation. Its aging is carried out in French oak barrels.
Alcoholic Degree: 14.5 Vol.
Serving temperature: 12-14 °C
This Cepa 21 wine in its visual phase is presented with a cherry red color with garnet rims. On the nose it is a wine full of nuances, with a balance between freshness and maturity. Its aromatic set is enriched by the notes of a barrel aging that provides subtle hints of spices and balsamic. In the taste phase it is a structured and powerful wine, with balanced acidity, typical of the high altitude of the vineyards from which it comes.
