Sassicaia is possibly one of the most prestigious wines that contemporary Italy has produced, and the 100 Parker points achieved by the previous 2016 vintage certified this. In this vintage, the winery faced the challenge posed by the scorching heat and drought that devastated the area in 2017. Even so, their good work led to a red made to resist, which delivers the promise of splendid aging. A promising potential founded on the gravel soils of the Tyrrhenian coast, a terroir directly comparable to the best soils in the Médoc. Extraordinary structure, elegance and length to adorn the quintessential super Tuscan.
Grape: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot
Alcoholic degree: 13% Vol.

Deep and concentrated ruby color. On the nose, its elegance and softness stand out, composed from a bouquet of sweet and ripe red fruits (blueberries, blackcurrant, cassis) and Mediterranean herbs such as bay leaf, juniper and myrtle.
