Classic Macan

The facilities of Bodegas Benjamín de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia are located in the town of Samaniego, on a high slope at the foot of the imposing Sierra de Cantabria. Construction began in 2015, it has been operational since 2016 and was inaugurated in June 2017.

Macán is the result of the brilliant tandem between Vega Sicilia and the Benjamín de Rothschild family. Macán Clásico is a wine closer to the territory. Freshness, fruitiness and delicacy are its hallmarks. Its production is carried out in stainless steel tanks, with a part of malolactic fermentation in oak, and aging in barrels that ranges between 12 and 14 months depending on the characteristics of the vintage.

Tasting notes: Cherry red with good intensity, frank, complex nose, with notes of ripe red and black fruits and well-integrated wood. On the palate it is elegant, dense and deep, with a long finish.
