Remirez De Ganuza Reserva

Founded in 1989, Bodegas Remírez de Ganuza was born as a personal commitment of its founder, Fernando Remírez de Ganuza. From the beginning the idea has been the same: to make an exhaustive selection of the grapes and intervene as little as possible in the winemaking process in order to be as faithful as possible to both the vintage and the vineyard.

The activity that Fernando carried out in the 1970s and 1980s in the Rioja Alavesa area, dedicated to buying and selling old vineyards, will select the most suitable farms in the region to develop your project. Made from the shoulders of the best bunches, only those from vineyards with an average age of 60 years. Both malolactic fermentation and aging are always carried out in new barrels. What is sought year after year in the elaboration of this wine is that it be a faithful reflection of its vintage.

Tasting note:

Remirez de Ganuza Reserva has a clean and beautiful color with a slight oxidation on the rim. On the nose it transmits the toasted notes of the barrel, with aromas of ripe and black fruits. On the palate it is friendly, intense and provocative. Ideal to accompany vegetables, meat or fish.
