San Roman.

San Román is a red wine from the DO Toro produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Mauro dos. In charge of this winery is Mariano García, an oenologist known for being the creator of Mauro and for his time at the prestigious Vega Sicilia winery, where he was responsible for the production of 30 vintages of its mythical wines.

San Román is aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, barrels that are renewed by 20% with each vintage.

Tasting Note:

It is a cherry-colored high expression wine, with a purple rim, quite dense, it will dye our glass and begin to seduce us with its aromas, aromas that it unfolds slowly, like the peacock unfolds its majestic tail before the eyes of its admirers. Aromas of raspberries, wild strawberries, always ripe sweet fruit, violet petals, notes of licorice, a very pleasant menthol sensation and aromas of dry earth... It is a wine with a marked mineral character. On the palate it is very fruity, with black fruit, and has an impressive structure, with sweet and very ripe tannins. Its palate is silky, with a greater presence of the aging notes on the palate than on the nose, always very well integrated. It's long, long, with great balance. Again: it is a classy, ​​powerful wine with a long life ahead of it.
