Remírez de Ganuza Gran Reserva

Wine made with grapes from vineyards with an average age of 60 years, located between the municipalities of Laguardia and San Vicente de la Sonsierra, selected in the vineyard and later on the selection table. Each harvest, the vineyards that will be used to make the Gran Reserva are selected. This is carried out taking into account the typicity of the vintage and the specific yield of each vineyard. The 2004 was one of the most elegant vintages that can be remembered in the recent history of the DO Rioja.

Tasting note:

Surreal aroma of curly spices, truffles, minerals and black fruits. On the palate it is remarkably powerful, yet elegant. Full on the palate, complex and amazingly rich. It has the balance to evolve for 15-20 years and should easily have a 50 year lifespan.
