Not so long ago, Robert Parker named Pétalos del Bierzo as the wine with the best value for money in Spain. With the quality seal of the descendants of J. Palacios (Álvaro Palacios and Ricardo Pérez), this young and vital wine is made from the Mencía grape, capable of producing wines with intense fruity and floral aromas and raspberry and cherry tones. 92 Parker points.

Tasting note

Petals of the Bierzo is an intense cherry color. Smoky aromas from its time in the oak and notes of black fruit. Mineral on the palate, due to the slate soil from which it comes, but smooth and long-lasting on the palate. It pairs wonderfully with cold meats, pastas, and seasonal mushrooms.
