Ossian Capital

The Capitel vineyard, to the south of the town of Nieva, sits on a characteristically dark slate vein. Its geological origin is much older than the majority sandy soils in the area: it dates from the Paleozoic era, more than 500 million years ago. The Peña Aguda plot houses very old vines. Some are close to 200 years old, which for us represents a whole historical and viticultural heritage. Its performance is low and of great concentration. Our viticulture is aimed at caring for the vines and obtaining a Verdejo grape that reflects the personality of this unique place.

Tasting note:

Golden yellow with greenish hues. Aromas of ripe fruit, wild herbs, sweet spices and a mineral background. The palate is dense, balanced, tasty and with a long persistence.
