Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta was born in 1895, in Haro, founded by the versatile Félix Martínez Lacuesta. Winemaker, lawyer, politician and publicist, he was the first president of the National Association of Viticulturists and Wine Industries, as well as the La Rioja Wine Union, and one of the precursors of the DO Rioja Regulatory Council, representing winemakers . The aging of this wine has been carried out in new and semi-new American oak barrels for a period of 18 months, completed with a further 6 months in the bottle until it is sold.

Tasting note:

Martínez Lacuesta Crianza is cherry red in color, with a garnet rim, with powerful aromas of ripe fruit, sweet spices and fine cocoa. On the palate it is tasty, meaty and spicy.

A highly recommended wine to accompany white or red meats, game or cured cheeses.
