THE HERMITAGE

One of the great wines of Spain made by Álvaro Palacios, a renowned Spanish oenologist recognized worldwide. Heir to a saga of Rioja winemakers, he knew how to see in the Priory the capacity to produce wines capable of achieving 100 Parker points (2013). Red made with vines between 85 and 105 years old with very low yields. The wine rests for about 16 months in French oak barrels before bottling.

Tasting note:

Brilliant cherry red with violet hues. Aromas, ripe black fruit, stewed, with hints of toast and minerals. Silky, elegant on the palate, good acidity that provides freshness and agility. Ripe, intense and long finish.
