CVNE Imperial Grand Reserve

Torremontalbo we make a selection of the grapes in the field. After rigorous ripening controls, the manual harvest begins in 20 kg boxes.
The grapes arrive at the winery and are placed in a cold room for 24 hours. After a selection process on a conveyor belt, the grapes pass by gravity into French oak vats, where they undergo alcoholic fermentation.
Subsequently, there is a 24-month aging in French and American oak barrels, ending the process with a 36-month bottle aging in our century-old cellars, until it is released on the market.

Data sheet

Grape: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo and Garnacha.

Alcoholic degree: 13.5% Vol.

Serving temperature: 18º C.

Bottle: 75cl.

Tasting note:

High aromatic intensity where the aromas from the stay in the barrel, such as balsamic and sweet spices, are intermingled, respecting the aromas of forest fruits and liquorice that bring us Mediterranean memories.
On the palate, its mid palate is velvety and oily, marked by a friendly tannin that leads to a long and fruity retronasal showing the elegance of traditional wines.
The roundness and balance make this wine pair with cheeses, red meats, game and oily fish, also to taste simply accompanied by good company.
