Hacienda Monasterio Crianza 2020

The idea for Hacienda Monasterio arose in 1990. That year Peter Sisseck arrived in Ribera del Duero to run the winery and plant the vineyards. Two years later, Carlos de la Fuente joins the team as Peter's right-hand man. Since then, his label has been a classic on the lists of the most wanted in Mantequerías Bravo.

The estate consists of 167 hectares, 108 of which are planted with vineyards. It is located halfway between the towns of Pesquera and Valbuena de Duero, known throughout the world as "the golden mile" for the high quality of its wines.

Wine at the right time to drink and enjoy for its freshness, with a magnificent balance of acidity, fruit and tannins, and with great aging potential.

Tasting note:

Opaque bright ruby ​​color. The nose is dominated by aromas of fresh red fruit. Very mineral nose with a touch of licorice very integrated with the tertiary aromas of the barrel. On the palate it has a clear, fresh, vinous and fruity entry that gives way to some fine and nervous tannins, typical of the calcareous soil that allow a fat, silky and voluminous mouthfeel. Its finish is fragrant and fruity.
