Gratallops

Gratallops is a wine that demonstrates the great structure and potential of Priorat wines, fresh wines with a personality very marked by the terroir, minerals and powerful. And in particular, the wine with which Álvaro Palacios seeks to convey the diversity of the places in the Gratallops district; is its Vi de Vila , a selection of grapes from the autochthonous varieties Garnacha (80%) and Cariñena (20%) from the Coll del Corral, Ermites, Torrent, Sorts-Les-Planes, Más d'en Pallarès, Manyetes , Obagués and Socarrats. Each place by its name, just as it was done in the old days.

Data sheet

Grape: Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah.

Alcoholic grade: 14% Vol.

Serving temperature: between 14 and 16 °C.

Bottle: 75cl.

Tasting note:

Gratallops is a cherry red wine, with great expressiveness of aromas, ripe red fruits, cherries and currants, with notes of menthol, camphor, minerals, spices and light balsamic hints. It has a thick texture on the palate with a sweet and unctuous entry, fine tannins, with a good load of fruit and wood, good persistence and a harmonious finish.
