Fontelas 2018 is a red wine from Bierzo and produced by Álvaro and Ricardo Palacios in their Descendientes de José Palacios winery. The grapes come from a plot located in the San Martín area, very humid and with 2% limestone, which gives it different nuances from the other wines in the winery.

Only 800 75cl bottles are made. And 53 magnums.

Tasting note:

It is a red wine with garnet reflections.
On the nose, we find red fruit and floral notes. Marking the terroir in the expression of the minerality it expresses. In the mouth the red fruit is present again. Integrated tannins and sublime elegance. All ending with a long and persistent finish, combined with a balsamic background that we find in the retro-nasal route...
