Mastery of Calology by José Manuel Pérez Ovejas. This is the name of the wine that comes from the personal project of this renowned winemaker from the Ribera del Duero. It is a wine with great depth, personality and without artifice.

It is born from the vineyards of the "Calogía" area, located in Roa, which surround the winery in the most Domaine style. The 2019 vintage is considered one of the best ever in the Ribera del Duero.

José Manuel Pérez Ovejas, with a long tradition of winegrowing at the Hermanos Pérez Pascuas Winery and consultant to very important winery groups, begins his personal project: Dominio de Calogia.

Tasting Note:

Intense cherry colour. Aromas of ripe fruit, creamy oak, toast and chocolate. On the palate it is powerful and spicy, with ripe fruit and ripe tannins. It is a huge wine to be able to appreciate it at this time but, due to its excellent potential, it can be kept for many more years, thinking of the collectors of great wines who prefer to enjoy it with more time to mature in the bottle.
