Chateau Rocheyron

Château Rocheyron is a red wine from the Saint-Emilion area. The good quality of its grapes, good land and two maestros, Silvio Denz and Peter Sisseck, are the three combinations of Château Rocheyron, the new project that unites these two friends with the aim of offering a great wine from this small plot that it is located next to the Grand Cru Château Laroque.
Silvio Denz is an art collector and creator of perfumes and Peter Sisseck is the owner of Dominio de Pingus, responsible in large part for the current splendor of Ribera del Duero. The Château Rocheyron vineyards have old vines over 80 years old and an average age of 45 years, made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, on a very particular and renowned calcareous soil.

Tasting note:

Intense red in color, on the nose it is quite intense ripe fruit and marked toasted notes with a light background of dairy and spicy notes, hints of liquor and some chocolate with mint. In the mouth, a well-marked astringency stands out, appreciating ripe black fruit, rough and drying tannins, and notes of black licorice. Its finish is long, with an aftertaste of black fruit and aftertaste, liquor and smoke.
