Le Difese is the little brother of the world famous Sassicaia, one of the most recognized wines on the planet and among the best in the world by critics. Mario Incisa della Rocchetta was the one who gave rise to this great Tenuta San Guido winery, considered the producer of the first Super Toscano, who radically transformed the production of Italian wines. The grapes used to make Le Difese come from Tenuta San Guido's youngest Cabernet and Sangiovese vines.
