Château Margaux classified as 1er Cru Classé is one of the jewels of Margaux, which has belonged to the Mentzelopoulos family since 1978. Château Margaux with an area of ​​90 hectares that produces approximately 30,000 cases per year and is located in the center of the Margaux name. The vineyards are planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. The wine is fermented in a mixture of oak barrels and matures from 18 to 24 months in 100% new oak barrels, whose manager is its director Paul Pontallier, who glides with the successive triumphs of this house's wines. Yet the image, skill and efficiency with which Paul has run this great vineyard since its inaugural vintage in 1978 pay tribute to elegance and classicism, resulting in a perfect wine.
