Red Baynos 2020

From the hand of one of the most famous oenologists in Spain, Mariano García, Baynos was born, a crianza red under the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin and produced by Bodegas Baynos. This wine is the expression of the terroir of Baños de Ebro, where the soils are poor and rich in clay. It is vinified in the traditional way, the destemmed and unsqueezed grapes ferment with native yeasts in cement tanks and are aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Baynos is a direct wine, with a complex, fruity nose, very broad, full of nuances, silky tannins, tension and freshness. The wood is in the background, but it is. The mouth is superb, powerful and fresh at the same time.
