Deutz Amour

The Brut Millesime Amour de Deutz 2000 Champagne is a rare Blanc de Blancs made from vineyards in Mesnil (60%), Avize (35%) and Villers Marmery (5%) that the winery makes in small quantities (no more than 365 Mathusalem) and each bottle is numbered. Lucky for a few who can try it. The Amour de Deutz emerges from the glass with endless layers of mineral-infused fruit, displaying wonderful intensity and richness.

Tasting note:

The tunic is golden, with crystalline reflections and a fine and abundant bubble. The nose is powerful, rich and complex. It develops aromas of peach, honey, spices, candied ginger and nutmeg. On the palate, this millesime from 2000 is lively and tense, exhaling aromas of cooked fruit, almonds, spices and biscuits. The finish of this champagne is tasty and greedy and remains on a note of fine iodine.
