Lagavulin 16 years is a whiskey produced since 1816 on the Scottish island of Islay, specifically in the town of Lagavulin, which gives it its name. It is classified in the Single Islay Malt Whiskey category and is produced in one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland.
Thanks to its minimum maturation of 16 years and its sublime and sophisticated flavor of smoked peat, it is a Malt Whiskey that convinces the most demanding malt expert.

tasting note
Deep amber color, with an extraordinary aroma, the mixtures of peat and some vegetables stand out in a first impression, together with notes of cereals. On the palate it is robust, dry and complex, with a strong and sophisticated flavor with nuances of smoked peat, notes of wood, leather and iodine. It ends with a memory softened by the memory of sherry.
