Glenfiddich IPA

To create the Glenfiddich IPA, Glenfiddich has collaborated with a Speyside craft brewery. The brewery created 3 beers of different personalities with British hops. Subsequently, they filled American oak barrels that had held Glenfiddich for 12 years with the beers.

Glenfiddich left the casks for a while to allow the beer to absorb the whiskey and oak notes. Finally, they bottled the beer and filled the casks with already aged Glenfiddich whiskey to refine the whiskey.

After several tests, the second beer was the winner. The result of all this is Glenfiddich IPA Experiment. A whiskey without definition of age and bottled at 43% volume

Tasting note

This single malt expression is infused with uniquely flavorful citrus notes of ripe green apple, William pear and spring blossom. Complemented by the subtle flavor of fresh hops followed by a long lasting sweetness.
