Talisker 10 years

Talisker, the winding distillery touched by the sea, is located in Carbost on the Isle of Skye.

He traditionally ages his single malt whiskeys from 8 to 30 years and even older editions. From the year 2000 they began to bottle 20 and 25-year-old editions regularly, for the followers of the brand. It remains true to the distillery's historic brewing, having made replicas of vintage stills damaged in the past.

Alcoholic degree: 45.8% Vol.

tasting note

Gold with amber tones. It opens with a deep hint of sea breeze, which dominates for the entire duration of the tasting, followed by pleasant citrus notes of lemon and orange, then iodine and spices. Spicy opening, with lots of black pepper and cloves, a touch of cinnamon and then, far away, intoxicated by the depth of the ocean with a pleasant and never overbearing salty note. The final light smoke, salt, black pepper and seaweed. Small explosion of citrus notes.
