Crispy flakes of fleur de sel that are collected by hand in the Valle Salado de Añana (Álava). High quality salt, the result of the natural evaporation of salt water from its springs. Especially indicated to give a luxurious final touch to your gastronomic creations.
How is it produced?
The season for making salt varies each year depending on the weather conditions. It usually starts in May and ends in September. From this month on, the long nights delay the evaporation process and the continuous rains spoil the little salt that is obtained.
During the rest of the months, the salt workers carry out recovery and maintenance work on the salt flats in preparation for the production season. In the packaging module, the packaging machines work throughout the year to clean, package and label the salt.
