Yoichi Single Malt

Yoichi Single Malt displays the characteristics of the first Nikka`s distillery, built in 1934. Founder Masataka Taketsuru chose Yoichi in Hokkaido due to similar environmental conditions to Scotland, where he learned to make whiskey.

Tasting note

Pleasant cloudy and smoky notes that originate from the traditional direct charcoal distillation, as well as a salty touch emitted by the sea breeze during the aging process.
