Carpano Vermouth

The Carpano Vermouth - Punt e Mes is a product of legendary history.

On April 19, 1870, in Carpano's shop, a stockbroker taken by a discussion with his colleagues on the growth of certain stock tickers that day - increased by a year and a half - ordered the usual Carpano but this time corrected with a medium Chinese dose, using a dialect expression "Punt e Mes". It was before lunch, and thus a complete drink was born that was immediately liked, remembering the bartender Maurizio Boeris.

tasting note

Punt e Mes has an orange color with a topaz hue and is characterized by aromas reminiscent of medicinal herbs, China and cloves. The taste is sweet at first, characterized by an intriguing mark of orange peel. It then develops into the Chinese bitter taste, which characterizes the product, and then has a smooth sweet finish.
