Alabaster 2014 3L

Alabaster is a red wine from the DO Toro produced by Bodega Teso La Monja (owned by the Eguren family) in the town of Valdefinjas.

Among the 92 hectares of the property, they have pre-phylloxera Tinta de Toro (tempranillo) vineyards with more than 130 years that are subjected to a harsh continental climate, with very hot summers and very cold winters that mark the opulent character of their wines.

Malolactic fermentation and aging takes place in new French oak barrels, where the wine remains for 18 months.

tasting note

Purple black. Black fruit, liquor, Asian spices and a background of flowers. Velvety, well balanced, elegant, powerful and complex, with a long and persistent finish.
