Marquis of Riscal Verdejo

Marqués de Riscal Verdejo is one of the classics of the DO Rueda. Made with Verdejo grape, native to this region, it has pleasant aromas of verbena and tropical fruits, generous flavors and a fresh and lively mouthfeel.
In its 2019 vintage, Marqués de Riscal Verdejo becomes part of the winery's 100% organic wines, wines from sustainable agriculture and organic production. The elaboration of the wine with the minimum possible intervention manages to highlight the varietal purity and the character of the terroir of this area of ​​the Duero.

Tasting note:

Brilliant straw yellow wine. As befits the Verdejo variety, the nose presents a high aromatic intensity, with aromas of both tropical fruits and notes of fennel and fresh grass. On the palate it is refreshing as well as unctuous with a slightly bitter finish typical of the variety. Overall it appears as a fresh and balanced wine.
