Chivas Regal Mizunara

Chivas Regal is a premium Scotch Whiskey produced by the Chivas Brothers company, owned by the Pernod Ricard group, produced in Aberdeen, Scotland, since 1801. It is a blended whiskey, so it is not produced in a single distillery. This is the world's first selectively finished Scotch whiskey in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. The Chivas Mizunara seamlessly blends Scottish craftsmanship with Japanese tradition to create a truly cosmopolitan mix. An incredibly indulgent whiskey with a hint of spice. tasting note

It has an amber color of medium intensity, bright and with long tears. On the nose it shows a light character between white fruit, light wood and sweet spices. In a first pass we discover notes of grain whiskey and white fruit such as pear or apple. Also nuances of vanilla, caramelized orange and hazelnut. When we pass it through the mouth it has an elegant and friendly entry. Fruity notes very well matched with vanilla and wood follow each other pleasantly. Wood nuances such as cedar are mixed with light caramel and a fruity touch of stone fruit. Subsequently, spicy woody notes follow one another with spicy memories. The finish is medium and the notes of vanilla and a fruity background of apricot stand out along with noble wood.
