Grappa Poli Sassicaia

This brandy, made from fresh pomace of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and distilled with discontinuous copper stills with steam boilers. After maturing for 4 years in oak barrels, it has finished its aging process in barrels that have previously housed the famous Supertuscan Sassicaia wine for a period of 6 months.

Alcoholic degree: 40% Vol

Bottle: 70cl.

tasting note

Pale yellow colour. It opens with a delicate fresh floral scent made up of field flowers, daisies and freshly cut grass. Mouth: Marcato winey smell, due to the fact elevation sassicaia barrels presents accompanying cherry liqueur, then toasted almonds.

This Sassicaia Grappa is an interesting experiment: an elegant and well-structured total grappa, with good personality and traits.
