Maison Barthouil, a traditional brand of French foie gras, makes its confit in the old fashioned way with the best pieces of duck. The ducks are raised in Las Landas for at least 120 days and are then fed with whole corn. They have neither additives nor preservatives, because they are cooked at a low temperature with a little salt. Just open the jar and heat in the oven or in the pan.
