Álvaro Palacios, promoter of the Priorat and author of wines as singular as L'Ermita or Finca Dofí , bets here on the expression of the most "atlantic" terroir of Castilla, El Bierzo, and on the Mencía grape. Together with his nephew, Ricardo Pérez, he has signed up for biodynamic viticulture and is producing some of the most important wines that have been produced in Spain in recent years, such as this Moncerbal 2011, made from fruit from three small plots in the area of the same name, in the town of Corullón. A total of 0.86 ha, on slate soils.

Tasting note:
It is a wine of intense red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, we find red fruit, floral notes, where violet is more strongly enhanced, marking the terroir in the expression of the minerality it expresses. In the mouth the red fruit is present again. Integrated tannins and sublime elegance. All ending with a long and persistent finish, combined with a balsamic background that we find in the retro-nasal route.
