The Unfiltered Castillo de Monteagudo EVOO. 500 ml is made immediately after harvesting, the extraction is carried out cold, at a temperature of 22º and is sold unfiltered.

Unfiltered extra virgin olive oil preserves polyphenols, which gives it highly recommended antioxidant properties to add to a balanced diet. This causes it to retain a stronger flavor over the olives.

It is obtained with the best Arbequina olives, harvested in the last days of October and are specially selected from the Navarrese fields of the Marqués de San Adrián family.

The Arbequina olive originates from the town of Arbeca, in Lleida, although it has spread throughout Spain and the rest of the world due to the high quality of its oils and its ability to adapt to different climates and terrains. The trees are of low vigor and rapid entry into production, which makes them very suitable for modern cultivation techniques, and early maturation avoids the risk of frost that can occur in December and January. Arbequino olive trees produce small olives, which give rise to sweet and aromatic oils, with few bitter or spicy flavors. Due to its popularity and geographical spread, arbequina oils can have many different nuances, but in general the vegetable aromas predominate: grass, apple, banana, tomato.

Tasting note: Sweet, delicate and harmonious. Intense fruity aroma of grass and banana, with hints of almond and tomato. Slightly spicy finish. On the palate it is an elegant and silky oil. Very balanced, sweet and slightly spicy.
