Truly an icon of single malt Scotch. The most awarded single malt on the planet and arguably one of the bottlings that established the concept of single malt whiskey in the public eye. After spending 18 years in Sherry, Oloroso and Bourbon casks, the whiskey is transferred to oak vats for a three month maturation period, resulting in an extra smooth and harmonious single malt whiskey. The 18 years of maturation result in a flavor profile with honeyed notes of caramelized apple, cinnamon and a strong oak influence.
Alcoholic degree: 40% Vol.

Tasting note
Caramel color. Extraordinarily rich aroma of ripe fruit from the orchard, roasted apple and robust oak. Luxurious and deep flavor of dried fruit, candied fruits and dates. With an overlay of elegant oak notes. Warm comforting and distinguished finish. Its consumption alone or with two drops of water so that the aromas open up and with a third of water to reduce the alcohol without affecting all the flavors.
Excellent to accompany baked apple, fruit cake, or nuts. You can flavor the glass with ginger to intensify flavors.
