Decades ago, when men were involved in handling the grains that would later be used to make whiskey, it was common for repetitive movements to lead them to develop a shoulder injury, known as Monkey Shoulder: hence the name of this drink.

Tasting note:
Copper color. Elegant nose with aromas of jam, Catalan cream, cocoa and malt. notes of winter spices (nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon) that add an extra dimension along with a hint of anise. In the mouth with a lot of malt flavor, a creamy palate impregnated with berry, roasted barley, cloves and caramel. a touch of manuka honey, butter, toast and apricot. Finish: Medium length, flavored with orange, cloves, vanilla, and crème de menthe.
