Castiza Organic Chestnut Honey

CASTIZA HONEY is a brand of recent creation. Its apiaries are distributed among the Montes de Toledo, the Guadarrama River Regional Park, the Sierra Oeste of Madrid and next to the Hoces del Duratón Natural Park in Segovia. Currently, they have between 100 and 120 Langstroth-type hives that they move depending on the time of year, flowering and rainfall.

The chestnut honey that Castiza makes is completely natural, raw and does not undergo any transformation process. It is extracted by hand, with mechanical extractors. Afterwards, it is filtered to remove impurities and traces of wax, it is decanted in stainless steel ripeners and, finally, it is packaged in recyclable glass jars.
