lillet

Lillet is the most traditional liquor in France, with its origin in the Bordeaux region (Podensac). The wine used to make Lillet Blanc is the basis for the best white wines in the Bordeaux region (originally Sauternes was used). It is the result of a careful blend of: Semillon, which provides structure and a persistent finish, Sauvignon blanc, which provides freshness and aroma, and Muscadelle, with which the floral aroma and elegance are achieved. The headline is made with an artisan orange liqueur, made with sweet orange peels from Spain and bitter oranges from Haiti, cold macerated and a secret blend of fruits that includes red fruit liqueurs. At the end a small amount of quinine from Peru is added.

Alcoholic degree: 17% Vol.

Bottle: 75cl.

tasting note

Lillet has a bright gold color, with aromas of orange blossom, citrus, fresh mint, vanilla. On the palate it is fresh, outstanding, sweet and fruity, with a well-balanced structure and a good duration on the palate.
