Sorgin Yellow Gin

One year after the launch of their premium distilled gin Sorgin, François Lurton and Sabine Jaren, backed by their success, repeat with a first batch of Yellow Gin. This first batch has been bottled 6 months after the aging period in Pessac-Léognan and Graves barrels. This aging gives great complexity to the original Sorgin gin, without modifying its characteristic and appreciated freshness. The English-style gin that Sorgin wishes to imitate gives us finer spirits due to the manufacturing procedures used (successive distillations, methods of extracting the aromas contained in the juniper berries by infusion and maceration).

Alcoholic degree: 42% Vol.

Bottle: 70cl.

Tasting Note:

The cape is pale yellow with white gold reflections. At first, aromas of vanilla and roasted nuts emerge, as well as evocative spicy notes of pepper and ginger. Next, the typical aromas of gin appear: juniper berries, pine resin and sandalwood. The fruity notes of the Sauvignon variety complete the aromatic palette with nuances of orange peel and ripe quince. The entry into the mouth is wide and round, the palate is spicy and with hints of pepper that lengthen the aromatic persistence. The finish is completed with notes of fresh herbs.

Excellent to pair with roasted foie gras, smoked salmon or white mojo cheeses
