Havana Club was created in 1878 by the Spanish José Arechabala, from Vizcaya, and was nationalized as a Cuban brand in 1960, after the revolution. A true legend of the Havana Club range, he personifies the transformation between White and Dark Rums. Patiently aged for three years in white oak barrels, this rum is highly aromatic, well balanced, and light amber in color. Havana Club Añejo 3 Años is the White Rum that lasts the longest in the mouth, preferred by traditional consumers and chosen by Cuban bartenders to make classic drinks.
