Buchanan's Deluxe 12 Years

James Buchanan moved to London in 1878 to take advantage of a job offer at Charles MacKinlay, a whiskey company. Using what he learned as an agent, Buchanan created his own blended whiskey and founded James Buchanan & Co in 1884 in Glasgow, Scotland. That's where it all started. The unique and refined blend that has made Buchanan's 12-Year-Old whiskey famous for so long is the result of all his expertise.

tasting note

Buchanan's Delux 12 Years has a warm golden amber hue. On the nose, light notes of peat smoke intertwined with delicious essences of orange zest, vanilla cream and dark chocolate can be appreciated. The entry into the mouth is full of complexity, some green apple flavors are developed combined with citrus notes, caramel and cocoa. The finish is persistent, with a spicy touch where black pepper predominates, a sweet caramel flavor and a lot of smoke.
