Corimbo I is a project directed by Agustín Santolaya General Director of Bodegas Roda. This Tempranillo is made in the Ribera del Duero, in small plots in La Horra, Roa and neighboring towns (Burgos). Goblet strains with an average age of over 50 years. The manual harvest is carried out with a selection table. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in French oak vats (18 days before devatting), followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. 16 months in barrels, 80% French oak and 20% American oak.

Tasting Note:

Corimbo I is very intense with a dark cherry background and dark red trim. Full of fruit, blackberries, plums and black berries. Hugely expressive with perfectly integrated wood. Black profile with red notes. Voluminous, fresh, very rich. With magnificent fruit. Fine but present tannin.
